Diaphragm type Pressure Tank (Expansion Tank)

Expansion tanks are essential for relieving pressure in closed cooling system. If your pump stops, the fluid will boil and the expansion tank will relieve the pressure. Without it, the system will eject fluid through the safety pressure valve, and the system would need to be recharged.

The diaphragm type pressure tank is composed of steel shell and rubber diaphragm. The diaphragm is separated the water chamber and air chamber. When the outside pressure water enter the tank inside, the air sealed in the tank is compressed and volume become small, but the pressure is increased to store energy, compressed air expanded to press the water out of the tank.

This product is using retractable tank of gas to regulate the amount of water and its role is equivalent to the high water tank, water tower. High pressure water storage systems, water is released when the pressure is low, and according to changes in pressure, the control to start and stop the pump for continuous water supply purposes, the system function to accommodate the amount of expansion as an expansion tank.
